This week...On the Horizon

January 12, 2018

Hello Chums!

As we head into 2018 gonna make it a resolution to push out even more new music to you via On The Horizon. It happens every Sunday night from 10-Midnight and I play lots of new stuff, weird stuff, fun stuff and most importantly, good stuff! (at least I dig it) Here’s some of what’s coming up this Sunday…hope you dig it.

The Accidentals are: Savannah Buist, Katie Larson & Michael Dause. They call Traverse City Michigan home. If you’re not familiar, it’s way up north and was 17 degrees today…that’s pretty much all you need to know. Their break came at SXSW in 2015 which led to their first label deal. Presently they are with Sony Masterworks and they released their 3rd album Odyssey in August. This track is called Earthbound.

Meet A R I Z O N A! Band members Zach Hannah, Nate Esquite, and David Labuguen met in Boston while attending Berklee College of Music. A R I Z O N A was signed to Atlantic Records and released ‘Gallery’ last year. This track is called ‘Cross My Mind’. Hope you enjoy!

Jack White holed up in Nashville to write his forthcoming album, a record that looks to be his most musically expansive yet. ‘Boarding House Reach’ will be released March 23. Here is the first single ‘Connected by Love’.

Finally, Kimbra is out of New Zealand and her 3rd studio album is called ‘Primal Heart’ and is due to be released on April 20th. This is the second single and it’s called ‘Top of the World’.

See you Sunday night at 10 for On the Horizon!
